Europe Committee Is Recruiting

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

With this letter, we are inviting you to join us in our intention to build connections across and beyond Europe by reaching out to communities of creative arts therapies. Our focus is to develop and facilitate active dialogues among Europe and beyond in line with The International Association for Creative Arts in Education and Therapy (IACAET)*’s vision and mission of encouraging equality and humanity in exchanges across cultures worldwide.

The International Association for Creative Arts in Education and Therapy (IACAET) is a professional association with a global orientation and scope. IACAET promotes a genuine global dialogue, particularly between South and North, East and West, about the role and practice of the creative arts in education and therapy across all regions,  supports the development of the creative arts in a wide range of fields including education, therapy, healthcare and wellness, performing arts and other allied professions, supports the acknowledgement, and affirmation, of creative arts practitioners across the global who are committed to a body-mind-spirit continuum that advances humanity and the planet.

Europe Committee is one of the regional committees around the globe, that has been initiated by IACAET. https://www.iacaet.org/committees/ 

Europe Committee is co-directed by Mimma Della Cagnoletta, who is an experienced art therapist, based in Italy and Sevin Seda Güney, who is an experienced dance movement therapist based in Turkey. Mimma and Seda are both executive board members of IACAET and believe in connections and collaborations as a way to empower creative arts therapies.
